This policy explains what WattCost ("we," "us," or "our") does with information when you use the electricity cost calculator at wattwise-80m.pages.dev.

Information you enter in the calculator

The calculator works in your browser. Appliance names, power, voltage, current, usage hours, electricity rates, and calculated estimates are processed on your device and are not sent to a WattCost application server.

If you save an appliance to your comparison list, the site stores the appliance details and estimate in your browser's local storage so the list remains available on that browser. This information stays on your device unless you remove the saved item or clear this site's browser data. Do not save information you consider sensitive.

Hosting and technical information

The website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and request timing to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.

Advertising and cookies

WattCost does not currently run Google AdSense advertisements or Google Analytics. If advertising is added in the future, Google and other advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver ads, limit repeated ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and, where permitted, personalize ads based on visits to this and other websites.

Google's advertising cookies may allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site or other sites.
